Jane Smith (1972 to 1976)
Karen Robertson (1976 – 1983?)

Don’t forget Mrs. Robertson!!!!!!!!!! She was assistant principal, then became principal!!!!!!! I think Mrs. Smith retired at the end of 1975-1976……..I think I remember being in Principal Robertson’s office when Ms. Sharp started teaching drama in fall of 1976 (I wonder if anyone else remembers that meeting……………………….)
Holy cow, Sue, I totally forgot about Mrs. Robertson! I always thought of her as an assistant principal!
If you’re out there, Mrs. Robertson, forgive me!
((Thumbing through yearbooks )) Mrs. Robertson left in 1979 (I was a Freshman at the time). Afterwards, Anne Izzi took the title as Principal for both schools. Theresia Cunningham was given the Asst. Principal title in 1982.
Hope that this helps!
I recently saw Karen along with Lynda Sue Marks Guarnieri on a visit to S.F. (I live in Oakland and they were visiting for an exhibit and the opera), and she thought she was principal when I was a freshman in 1983… but I can’t find that year book, so I don’t know… and I didn’t remember her, just Theresia. Um, so you could call Lynda Sue and ask her!
Cheers,
Dana
I had totally forgot about Miss Sharpe. I can see her as clear as day. I remember Mrs Robertson.
Sandy Belhmer (sp) was really the best.
Mrs. Robertson is a hoot! She lives in Somis (SP?) on an avocado ranch. She has visited me several times in Albuquerque and goes by Karen Romney now (her maiden name). She is a wonderful artist!
Thanks to “Captain” Kathy Griffin, I researched the Team Argyll Revlon Run/Walk website and found posts from lots of students I know (and Cathy Lydon!). I don’t remember being part of the picture at the top of the page, but I recognize almost everybody there. Who can name all the people in that picture?
By the way, Founder’s Day was amazing! The Fourth R was incredible. Besides showing the film, the students and faculty acted it out as well. Very, very entertaining!
