Well-loved teachers

I recently added a page about an Argyll teacher who had a significant impact in my life: Maggie McConnell.

I sure did love Mrs. McConnell. What a tough broad she was!

Speaking of well-loved teachers, on January 16 I learned that an incredible Argyll teacher is fighting a terrible illness. In the days between then and now I’ve debated whether or not I should publish this information in a public website, but have decided to do it for two reasons:

  1. I know that if any of her former students knew she was sick, they would immediately want to contact her with good wishes for health and a speedy recovery.
  2. If she wants me to remove the information, I will do so immediately.

So for those of you who know and love Sandra Behlmer, possibly the greatest art teacher of all time (it’s true!) she’s very ill and I think she might like cards and letters from former students. Don’t let any more time go by without letting her know how much she means to you!

You can get in touch with her via Campbell Hall. (Or contact me and I’ll tell you another way to get in touch with her.)
