Wow! It is hard to believe we are in December already!! I hope this year has been filled with great times for all of you.

Speaking of great times, it is time for our annual Argyll Academy alumnae-faculty holiday get together at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel.

In past years, many of us have had an amazing time chatting with so many of our favorite Argyll teachers, as well as long lost friends.

Attached is the invitation for the event. If you are going to be in the Los Angeles area on December 17th, please join in on this amazing event that is the perfect way to wrap up the year. (Don’t to forget to accept by the 10th in order to get $10 off!)

Our annual “Revlon Run/Walk” event is scheduled for May 7th! This event is open to Argyll alums, family and friends. Feel free to pass this information along to anyone who might want to walk or run with us in Los Angeles.

Kathy Griffin, class of ’82, has done another wonderful job this year as the team captain, getting this all organized.

You can get $5.00 off your registration fee if you register by February 15th deadline extended to Feb 28!

We have a couple of Argyll events coming up that I want to make you aware of.

The first is the 2nd annual “Share the Love” Valentine’s Day charity drive for the battered women and their children of Haven Hills shelter.

Attached is a flyer that will give you the information on it. Even if you no longer live in the Southern California area, feel free to pass this along to any friends or family you might have out here and have them get in touch with me if they have anything they would like to donate.

The second event is our annual “Revlon Run/Walk” event to raise money and awareness for women’s cancers. This event is open to Argyll alums, family and friends. Again, feel free to pass this information along to anyone who might want to walk or run with us in Los Angeles. It will be held on May 7th, the day before Mother’s Day.

But never fear, I’m taking steps to make sure this won’t happen again. And here is news of the second event Torie’s setting up for us:

We had such a great time at this event last year. An invite will be coming out later this month, but put it on your calendar now – and start to invite other alums.

Revlon Run/Walk 2010

Hi all,

Attached is the flyer for the 2010 Revlon Run/Walk, in which Argyll Academy alumnae, friends and family will come together for the second year as “Team Argyll” to run, walk or sponsor in support of women’s cancer research.

Some of our classmates have battled, or are battling, breast or uterine cancer. For those of you who have won that battle, we look forward to being with you in celebration! For those who are still fighting, we will be there to support you!

The event will be on Saturday, May 8th so, if you are in town for that Mother’s Day weekend, we would love to see you there! If you can’t be there in person, it would be great if you could sponsor one your fellow alumnae.
